March 18th, 2010, PASA debuted a new multi-use public art space in partnership with the Downtown Operations Department that revitalizes an unused downtown storefront office space into the "PASA Studio".  This unique downtown opportunity will showcase the public art process and educate the community on the various projects and initiatives happening throughout our City.

The first PASA Studio exhibit, COSAS: Art for the Built Environment, will be on view Tuesday through Thursday from 1pm - 5pm (until 7pm on Thursdays!) through 3/18/10 to 5/28/10.  The exhibit features artworks and presentations by local artists from the new online Catalog of On-Site Artist Services (or COSAS) and many City capital projects are showcased.

PASA Studio will also serve as a place where the community interacts with artists, PASA staff, comes to workshops such as "Public Art 101" classes, "Studio Sessions" artist presentations, and meetings of the City's Public Art Board.  PASA Studio will be a destination and rally point for tours, artist talks, initiatives of the City's Public Art Board, and partnerships with other downtown art happenings.

Situated near the corner of St. Mary’s and Pecan St., the central location at 400 North St. Mary's Street, Suite 101, is very accessible with great access to parking and bus stops. We hope to find you there soon!
